Catalina Alvarez is the Principal Lawyer and Director of Fair Path Legal, bringing extensive national and international experience in family law. Her career spans both government and private practice across Europe, South America, and Australia, giving her a broad and strategic perspective on complex family matters.
She supports clients through separation, parenting arrangements, and property settlements with clarity, strength, and compassion. Catalina understands that family law is never just about legal outcomes it is about helping people navigate deeply personal transitions with confidence and dignity. Her approach is practical, solutions-focused, and always grounded in respect.
As a mother of two and partner, Catalina has a genuine understanding of the realities of family life. Nicolas Blandon
Lawyer
Nicolas Blandon is a dedicated family lawyer admitted to practice in Victoria, holding a Juris Doctor from La Trobe University. His legal journey began in South America, where he first practised law before completing his formal training in Australia. This international experience gives him a broad perspective and a practical, solutions-focused approach to every matter he handles.
Nicolas works closely with clients across all areas of family law, including parenting arrangements, property settlements, and related disputes. Pablo Pelaez
Practice Manager
Pablo Pelaez brings more than 20 years of corporate and consulting experience to Fair Path Legal, offering strong commercial insight and a steady, strategic approach to business operations. His background spans leadership, systems improvement, and organisational strategy, allowing him to see both the bigger picture and the critical details that keep a firm running smoothly.
As Practice Manager, Pablo works closely with Catalina to oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations. He focuses on strengthening systems, refining processes, and building a practice that is efficient, responsive, and sustainable.
